Anna Victoria Pottie is a multidisciplinary artist, designer, and lifelong thrifter based in Northern Alberta, Canada whose art practice centers on experimentation, play, and an evolving mix of mediums and styles. With a background in graphic design, she brings a sharp eye for composition and detail to her projects, while drawing on nostalgia, sustainability, and the complexities of contemporary life. Her work often incorporates found materials, layered imagery, upcycled textiles, and both traditional and digital processes.
This project grew from a personal need to create during a period of burnout and overwhelm. Creating was a way to process emotion, reconnect with tangible forms of making, and transform inner chaos into something playful, wearable, and meaningful.
Shaped by the millennial experience — navigating constant change, digital saturation, consumer culture, uncertainty, and societal pressures — this is an existential breakdown turned art project.
